With the emergence of developing roles for physiotherapists in Ontario, this webinar will provide a review of the current state of health human resources and opportunities for physiotherapists to address gaps, a review of the evaluation of emerging roles in physiotherapy; and areas for future research and directions for the profession. The session will review the impact of Extended Role Practitioners (e.g. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists) in musculoskeletal health through a quality improvement lens; through the six dimensions of quality and triple aim constructs of quality improvement approach. Existing literature will be explored with reflection on the impact at the micro, meso and macro- systems level.
